Hunkemöller Member Programme Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
Capitalized terms used hereafter have the following meanings:
Hunkemöller: The private company with limited liability Hunkemöller B.V. including its affiliated companies, Hunkemöller B.V., Koos Postemalaan 8, 1217 ZC Hilversum, The Netherlands;
Member card: The digital card issued by Hunkemöller as part of the member programme;
Hunkemöller member: The holder of the member digital card;
Member programme: Hunkemöller's loyalty programme.
2. Applicability
These Membership Terms and Conditions apply to Hunkemöller's member programme. Hunkemöller's member programme which operates across all our stores and websites.
3. Registering a member card
A customer can sign up to become a Hunkemöller member in store, online and in our app. Signing up requires the customer to agree to these Member Programme Terms and Conditions and Hunkemöller's Privacy Statement.
When a customer signs up, they are issued a digital member card. The member card allows customers to identify themselves in-store, through the Hunkemöller app or at the bottom of all Hunkemöller member emails.
To register a new member, the minimum data requirements are first name, last name, and email address.
Members automatically receive all membership benefits. This includes member updates, personalised offers, recommendations and event invites through different channels such as email. Members can update their communication preferences at any time in the member preference centre, or by clicking on the unsubscribe button in any email. Members registered in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland and France will receive a separate double opt-in confirmation. Members can sign up for the newsletter separately from the membership.
3.1 Registration in the store
When a Hunkemöller member registers in store, they are asked via email to complete their registration by creating a password. The Hunkemöller member can instantly earn rewards and take advantage of the benefits of the member programme. Joining Hunkemöller's member programme is free of charge.
3.2 Registration via the website or app
When a Hunkemöller member registers via the website or app, they are required to provide their first name, last name, email address, and agree to the Member Programme Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement. The member is issued a digital member card, which is accessible via the Hunkemöller app, member account or email.
4. Participation in the member programme
4.1 Eligibility requirements
There are two requirements to participate in Hunkemöller's member programme:
- The customer must have a valid residential address in countries where we operate stores or a webshop.
- The customer must be at least 16 years of age.
4.2 Use of member card
The member card is personal and non-transferable. Only 1 (one) email address can be registered for 1 (one) member card. There is a maximum of 1 (one) member card per customer. When customers use their member card for purchases (in store, online or in our app), Hunkemöller can attribute the purchase to the member. Details from purchases determine what Level the member is in and what benefits they can access from this member programme.
4.3 Redeeming Vouchers
Vouchers are loaded to the member account based on member level and your purchases. Vouchers or other rewards are only loaded after the return period has passed. Return periods may differ per country and might change during the year. The return period in effect at the time of purchase is taken into account before moving up a tier. Members can use a voucher online or in our app by selecting it in the shopping cart. In store, our Sales Assistants will discuss available vouchers with customers.
Vouchers have different expiration dates. The expiration date is visible in the terms and conditions of the voucher itself (including out-is-out terms). Hunkemoller may amend voucher validity when reasonably required, in a way that does not unfairly disadvantage our loved members. We will notify members of changes to vouchers as soon as possible.
Vouchers are not valid in our Designer Outlet Centres (DOC) stores. Vouchers are not redeemable for money and can be cancelled by Hunkemöller.
5. Member levels and benefits
Hunkemöller's member programme has three tiers. Members move up in level according to frequency of purchase. Moving one level up only takes place after the return period has passed. Return periods may differ per country and might change during the year. The return period in place in the country and at the time of purchase is taken into account before moving up a tier. On the annual anniversary of you becoming a member, your purchase frequency for the past member year will be assessed, taking into account any full returns. If the Hunkemöller member returns a complete purchase, the purchase does not count towards the member's frequency level. A partial return does contribute to a member's level.
During the member year, members only move up tiers, not down.
Hunkemöller’s member programme tiers have the following thresholds:
- Level 1 includes members with 0-1 purchase in their member year
- Level 2 includes members with 2-3 purchases in their member year
- Level 3 includes members with 4 or more purchases in their member year
The Hunkemöller member programme tiers and its thresholds, as well as how Hunkemöller members move up or down levels can be changed by Hunkemöller at any time. Tiers do not create vested rights.
Hunkemöller members receive various benefits by registering for the member programme. These benefits change per level. When a Hunkemöller member drops in level, they are no longer entitled to the benefits of the level above. Member benefits can vary over time and can be changed by Hunkemöller at any moment.
5.1 Level 1
New Hunkemöller members, as well as existing members with a purchase frequency of 0-1 in their member year, start at level 1. Benefits for Level 1 members may include:
- A 10% welcome voucher and a gift on your birthday
- Early access to new collections and promotions
- Offers and rewards based on your shopping history and what we think you'll love
- Member updates via email about your rewards and benefits as well as personalised messages and offers.
5.1.1 Discount Vouchers
Hunkemöller members may receive discount vouchers. Discount vouchers can be linked to a specific campaign, the Wheel of Rewards, based on shopping behaviour or preferences or due to moving through the levels of the programme. The voucher gives a discount on certain products or product categories. Vouchers are not valid in our Designer Outlet Centres (DOC) stores.
5.1.2 Win Competitions
Hunkemöller members can participate in certain Win competitions. We offer Win competitions in different ways, for example: through the app, via a store activation, via the use of a voucher or via our social channels.
5.1.3 Wheel of Rewards
Hunkemöller members can participate in playing the 'Wheel of Rewards' Game. Hunkemöller members can play the 'Wheel of Rewards' Game via our website (in their member account) or the app. The game is not available at all times and is turned on or off by Hunkemöller for certain periods. In the game, Hunkemöller Members can win shop credit, vouchers and other prizes by spinning the wheel. The full terms and conditions that are applicable when the Hunkemöller Member plays the game can be found at https://www.hunkemoller.co.uk/wop-terms. From September 2026 onwards the ‘Wheel of Rewards’ Game will be turned off indefinitely.
5.1.4 Gift with Purchase
Hunkemöller members, from time to time, may receive the benefit of a gift with purchase (by redeeming a voucher) on their account. The gifts will vary and change during the year. As for all vouchers, the voucher for a gift with purchase also has an expiration date indicated in the terms of the voucher. Stock of gifts with purchase may be limited, and the voucher for a gift with purchase is only valid as long as a store has stock.
5.2 Level 2
Level 2 includes members with 2-3 purchases in their member year. Level 2 members get all the benefits from Level 1, may include:
- Early access to new collections
- A larger birthday voucher
- Special invitations to Hunkemöller member events
5.2.1 Shop credits
Hunkemöller members may earns shop credit. Shop credit can be loaded on member accounts onat different moments, occasions and undefined frequency per year. Each shop credit amount can have a different expiration date. The shop credit can generally be used with any purchase and in combination with vouchers. Members can use the shop credit through the shopping cart on the website and in the app, or at the checkout in the store, unless the shop credit is restricted to a certain channel. Shop credit is deducted from the member account after it is used in a purchase.
5.3 Level 3
Level 3 includes members with 4 or more purchases in their member year. Level 3 benefits may include all the benefits from Levels 1 and 2, plus:
- Shop credit as a welcome gift for entering level 3
- An even larger birthday voucher
- Free shipping on occasion during your member year
- Shop credit rewarded for activity in level 3
- Access to our product panel to test new products!
5.3.1 Events
Hunkemöller may organize events for Hunkemöller members. Depending on the event, Hunkemöller members can register for the event, be invited to the event based on their level, or have a chance to sign up first. This may take place by activating a voucher or in a different way via our website, app, social channels or in stores. Hunkemöller members will receive a verification or ticket by email.
5.3.2 Personalized Vouchers
Hunkemöller members may also receive personalized vouchers. These vouchers are awarded to Hunkemöller members based on various and variable criteria; for example, the level of the Hunkemöller member or the member’s purchase history.
6. Student Discount
Hunkemöller members can get a student discount at Hunkemöller when shopping in store. By presenting a valid (in date) student card in-store, the Hunkemöller member receives a 10% discount. This student discount is valid in combination with other promotions. The student discount is not valid online or via our app.
7. Changes to the member programme
Hunkemöller reserves the right to withdraw, change or make new offers for the member programme described herein at any time and under any circumstances.
In 2026, Hunkemoller is upgrading its member programme and removing Passion Points. Refer to the FAQs for more details.
8. Inactivity and Cancellation
8.1 Inactivity
After a member has not shopped with us for 6 years, we delete their member account. If, after this 6-year period, the customer decides to make a purchase from Hunkemöller, the customer can create a new member account in stores, on the website or in the app.
8.2 Cancellation by Hunkemöller
Hunkemöller has the right, without prejudice to all its rights, in case of (reasonably suspected) fraud, the provision of incomplete or incorrect information, in case of breach of these Member Programme Terms and Conditions, abuse of rights as a Hunkemöller member or any other action causing damage to Hunkemöller and/or its stores, to withdraw the member card with immediate effect, to block it and/or to withdraw any saved discount and/or to cancel any purchase made in this way. The same applies when a Hunkemöller member changes, falsifies, subverts or damages the member card in any other way (including hacking), or attempts to do so. Fraud (or attempted fraud) or any other unauthorized action may be recorded and may result in the Hunkemöller Member being denied the use of the member card.
8.3 Cancellation by member
Hunkemöller members can cancel their participation in the member programme at any time. To cancel participation in the member programme, the Hunkemöller member can fill in and send this form and confirm cancellation via the received email. This form can also be found via the "Delete" button in the App.
After cancellation, the member card is no longer valid and cannot be used to benefit from the member programme. Any Shop Credit or other rewards and benefits remaining after cancellation will expire and cannot be converted to cash.
9. Termination of programme
Hunkemöller reserves the right to terminate the member programme at any time. The Hunkemöller member will be informed of the termination no later than 3 (three) months in advance. Until the date of termination, the Hunkemöller member can continue to enjoy the current benefits of the member programme. After termination under this section, the Hunkemöller member will not be able to enjoy the current benefits of the member programme.
10. Lost, stolen or defective member card
Hunkemöller members must inform Hunkemöller as soon as possible if their member card details are lost or stolen, if they believe their member account has been hacked, or their member card is malfunctioning. Members can speak to a staff member at a store or contact Customer Service. Hunkemöller may block a member card, so the customer can create a new member account.
11. Privacy
Processing personal data about members is necessary to provide members with the benefits of the member programme. Our Privacy Statement includes information about the personal data Hunkemöller processes about members, our lawful bases for processing, and how personal data is used in relation to the member programme. Channels through which we communicate with members include email, app, post, and social media.
If a Hunkemöller member wishes to change, add to or delete data in the context of the Hunkemöller member programme, they can do this either by:
- updating their information in the Member portal;
- filling in this form.
The member portal has a Preference Centre where members can manage the types of communications and marketing they receive from Hunkemöller.
If Hunkemöller member requests Hunkemöller to delete all personal data about them, that customer can no longer be a member.
12. Liability
Hunkemöller is not liable for:
- unauthorized use - by the Hunkemöller Member or by third parties - of the member programme,
- fraudulent use of a discount or shop credit.
- theft (including the use of the Hunkemöller member's login by unauthorized third parties), loss, counterfeiting or misuse of the member card.
Hunkemöller will not refund any outstanding shop credit under any circumstances.
13. Other Provisions
Hunkemöller reserves the right to change these Member Programme Terms and Conditions. On the date the amended conditions come into force, all previous Member Terms and Conditions will expire. Dutch law applies to these Member Programme Terms and Conditions and the member programme. Any disputes may be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam.
