The holiday is over, and we have to go back to work or school. Of course, you have slept in every day the entire holiday, and you are no longer accustomed to the early mornings that await you! Get into your pyjamas and make yourself a cup of tea, as we have the best tips for a better night’s sleep, so you’ll be on time for everything awaiting you in the morning!

The night before
You don’t want to think about any unnecessary things in the morning before you have to leave the house, so prepare well for the next morning. Choose a lovely lingerie set and a cool outfit, prepare your lunch and shower the night before, thus you’ll avoid forgetting something at home, and you can snooze in bed for as long as possible in the morning 😉.

An elaborate evening routine
To fall asleep quickly, it is nice to follow a long, relaxing evening routine. Get into a comfortable lounge wear set and make sure you don’t have a laptop or phone on at least an hour before you go to bed. A face mask or an elaborate skin care routine can also be relaxing, and this is easily combined with a lovely bath. Don’t forget about meditation or yoga, if that’s your way of relaxation. Or take a good book with you to bed!

Go to bed in time
Falling asleep is the easiest if you have a fixed routine during the day. If you get up at a fixed time in the morning, and go to bed at a fixed time in the evening, your body will automatically take on this rhythm, so you’ll wake up “whistling”, every morning. Make sure you go to bed on time, and that you’ll get around 7 to 8 hours sleep every night. By being active during the day, you’ll fall asleep sooner, so try to exercise for another hour or take a nice walk in the evening.

Don’t try to force your sleep, because that will just leave you wide awake! By following these tips, you’ll become a morning person in no time and you’ll never have to complain about having to get up so early in the morning, again. Good luck!
